About Us
Dr. Amarnathan’s Dental Care was established in East Tambaram in 1968 with a single dental chair and a vision to provide high-quality dental care to the community. With over four decades of distinguished service at Madras Government Dental College as a renowned Prosthodontist, he later served as the Head of the Department. After retirement, he played a key role in shaping SRM Dental College as its Principal, contributing significantly to dental education and clinical excellence.
Over the past five decades, the clinic has grown steadily, guided by its core principles – Uncompromising Quality Service, Loving Care, Total Patient Satisfaction, Completely Satisfying Results, and Complete Dental Solutions. Today, the facility is equipped with multiple modern dental chairs, advanced technology, and experienced specialty consultants, proudly serving the dental needs of several generations of families.
Dr. Suresh assumed responsibility for the clinic in 2001, continuing the legacy of excellence established by Dr. Amarnathan. He graduated from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 1994, completed a six-month senior internship at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, and served as a faculty member at SRM Dental College, Chennai, for four years.
In 1995, Dr. Suresh founded RAMS Dental Care in Guduvanchery, a sister clinic to Dr. Amarnathan’s Dental Care. Over the years, the clinic has made significant contributions to improving oral health among communities in and around Guduvanchery. Since taking over the East Tambaram facility, he has been managing both practices, dedicating mornings to Guduvanchery and evenings to East Tambaram while overseeing clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Following the footsteps of his mentor, Dr. Suresh continues to uphold the clinic’s founding values with dedication and integrity. His areas of special interest include Root Canal Treatment, Restorative Dentistry, and Crown & Bridge procedures. He regularly participates in advanced dental education programs to stay updated with the latest developments in dentistry.
Dr. Suresh is a member of the Kancheepuram branch of the Indian Dental Association and has served as the Convener of the Council of Dental Education. He has completed specialized training in Root Canal Treatments, Orthodontics (Braces), Laminates, and Veneers. Outside his professional life, he enjoys traveling, swimming, and cycling.
